Hi Erik. Amazing post as well as all your video courses. This is a great solution to fight parameter sniffing for the queries you are allowed to modify. But what about for the code you simply cannot touch? Would be Plan Guide an option for that? Happy holidays and thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Yep, totally, but they can be tricky to get working. Forced Plans in Query Store are a bit easier.
